Teens and Tweens As a group that faces changing bodies and significant social and emotional pressures, the Juniors age group (teens and tweens between 10 and 16 years old) gains tremendous benefit from Traditional Martial Arts. Our Black Belt programs offer a safe space for teens to develop confidence in themselves. Movement for this age group focuses on a balance of Udo/Juijitsu and Kong Su (Tae Kwon Do/Karate), through which Juniors learn to coordinate rapidly growing bodies while developing mental focus, sharpness, and other skills that can improve their academics.
