Physical Benefits

Address Your Physical Condition

t

In East Asia, over the centuries hundreds of millions of people have greatly benefited their lives through the combined internal and external strength developed from the practice of Moo Doe (Martial Arts).

Oom Yung Doe movements develop all areas of the body - which is important for your health as well as for self defense. Every muscle, tendon, ligament, and joint is developed. Through the final positions and transitions of the forms, muscle groups are balanced with each other, building both strength and elasticity deep into the joint. Range of motion is balanced with strength through the very nature of the movements. At the same time, the student builds coordination, balance, agility, speed, and body control as they develop their ability to move with speed and power. Because this development is combined in every movement, it would otherwise take several hours and many different common exercises in order to achieve the same results as 20 minutes of Moo Doe practice. Because of the balanced nature of the movement, through the practice of certain forms, it is possible to correct many physical problems you tmay have - or to avoid those that may occur later in life.

Many people practice martial arts for self defense. Many more people throughout the world practice MooDoe for health benefits that are difficult for them to find anywhere else. This is one of the main reasons that the practice of Moo Doe in East Asia has been held in high esteem throughout the centuries.

History has proven that the harmony achieved through the practice of correct Moo Doe movement results in one most important benefit: extraordinary energy and stamina. This more than any other benefit is the reason hundreds of millions of people throughout East Asia continue to practice Moo Doe.

Some students in Oom Yung Doe choose to reach the level of First Degree Black Belt. They do this becuase of the foundation it represents. Once a student has built the proper foundation it is much easier to maintain their condition. Some choose to build on that foundation further by training to build the miraculous levels of skill and ability that history has shown possible through Traditional Moo Doe. Before making this decision, it is best to try the training to see for yourself what Moo Doe can provide. The best way to know that what is what is described on this website is accurate is to simply come in and try for yourself. Contact a school to make an appointment.
